The Theresa Foundation stands with those speaking out against racism and injustice. We believe in diversity, inclusion, kindness, and love. And we believe that Black Lives Matter.
Core to our purpose as a Foundation is our commitment to the inalienable rights of artistic expression and physical recreation for all–regardless of ability, income, or skin color. Racism and discrimination, in any form, have no place in our world and are fundamentally incompatible with our mission and vision. Together, with all humanity, we must not only demand change, but be the change we want to see.
Since the Theresa Foundation’s inception in 1992, we have been privileged to provide 161 grants, totaling over 2 million dollars, in support of programs in art, music, dance, drama, and recreation for children with special needs. To the black and brown children and families who enrich all of the programs we support; to our black and brown supporters, neighbors, and community partners; and to our black and brown friends, relatives, and heroes, please know that the Theresa Foundation stands with you today, and always.
With love and solidarity,
The Board of Directors
