The Theresa Foundation congratulates Lora Webster, 2018 Theresa Award Recipient, on winning her 5th medal at the Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020!
5 time Paralympian, Lora Webster, competed in the sitting volleyball tournament in Tokyo winning a gold medal earlier this month. This is her second gold medal for Team USA. Webster now holds two gold medals, two silver and one bronze.
The Theresa Foundation is proud of Webster and the message she sends to athletes of all abilities. In 2018, Webster told the Theresa Foundation, “People have differences in life, it doesn’t mean that they are any less important or they are any less able to do whatever they want to do. I pride myself on the fact that my kids will grow up and ask questions, and they strive to understand people’s differences rather than being taken aback by them or being scared of it. I try to educate other kids to do the same.”
Congratulations to Lora Webster and Team USA!
